I love the patterns created by these rice terraces we walked through on the longer track to the homestay. Unfortunately although the rice was ready for harvesting, the fields were deserted due to the rainy weather.

Great photos - sometimes it's not until you see photo's that you appreciate what you actually walked through.....guess when you are huff'n & puff'n up that bloody hill the last thing you take in are your surroundings
I agree with you Helen. It wasn't until we saw the photos back home that we realised what wonderful sites we saw on the way. Those rice paddies were so spectacular.
